One of the largest paintings in the series, Air and Light is about atmosphere more than place. Light seems to move through the painting rather than simply fall upon it, creating a sense of depth and openness that continues beyond the canvas. At this scale, the painting has presence from across the room and becomes increasingly alive as you move closer.
